A note to John's fans...
John is enormously grateful for the kind letters, messages and good wishes he receives from people around the world. It means a great deal to him to know that the characters and stories he has been fortunate enough to be part of continue to bring people such enjoyment.

Unfortunately, due to the volume of correspondence he receives, together with the time and increasingly significant cost involved in returning items by post, John is no longer able to respond to individual fan mail or fulfil autograph requests sent to him.

Please know that your kindness and support are very much appreciated, even when John is unable to reply personally.

John does, however, very much enjoy meeting fans in person and regularly attends conventions and events. if you're able to come along to one of his appearances, he would be delighted to see you there and say hello.

Thank you, as always, for your understanding - and for your continued support of John and his work.
